Healthy Corned Beef and Cabbage

Mmmmmmm… Corned Beef and Cabbage! We know it’s delicious, but there are always ways to make it even healthier! Try this delicious recipe for Healthy Corned Beef and Cabbage! It has PLENTY of flavor without some of the unnecessary (and unhealthy) additives!


  • 3-4lb. Corned beef brisket
  • 1 large head of cabbage
  • 2 onions
  • 1 carrot
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • Pepper to taste
  • Spices to taste
  • Olive Oil


Place brisket in crock pot and cook on low heat for eight hours with 3 cloves of garlic, pepper and water to cover the meat. 45 minutes before the beef is done, slice carrots, onion and remaining garlic. Sauté together in olive oil until onions are transparent and garlic and carrots are soft. Add in cabbage and spices until soft. Enjoy!
